Tokyo Jonez was born in a small town called Tulsa in the great state of Oklahoma where he currently resides with his wife and daughter. In 2016, Tokyo started creating music during an internship. Through months of grinding and faith, Tokyo Jonez became a huge face in the city of Tulsa where he first started his music career. Much of his fanbase knows him by his previous name, "Tulsa Hype Man" through the launch of a local city park development that is now known across the world.

 

The name Tokyo was inspired by prayer and fasting and stands for Trust One King, You'll Overcome.

In 2020, Tokyo Jonez founded his music label Souldout Music LLC. As the CEO, Tokyo Jonez has unapologetically strived to reach the lost through relatable and genuine music. Tokyo knew from the beginning of his career he would be the most hype Christian Hip Hop Rapper on the planet.
